During the training, I highlight the importance of culture awareness, culture humility and encourage participants to share about their culture.

 

I talk about the importance of self care and encourage participants to share what they like to do for self care. 

Participants feel comfortable sharing and asking questions and feel the training added more tools to their toolbox.

Danit's dedication to increasing the mental health literacy of adults working with youth is evidenced in her culturally relevant and responsive instruction of Youth Mental Health First Aid classes.
