Teen Resilience and Thriving Workshop provides a nurturing, supportive environment where teens can share their challenges, build confidence, and grow resilience. Through engaging activities, real-life examples, and guided discussions, teens gain practical skills to manage stress, improve emotional well-being, and thrive both in school and beyond.

  • Recognize early and later warning signs of poor coping—and know how to take action or get help.

  • Build refusal skills for substance use and other risky behaviors they don’t want to be part of.

  • Practice positive self-talk, replacing negative thoughts with more helpful ones.

  • Strengthen time management and organizational skills to reduce stress and improve success.

  • Use mind-body tools to adopt a positive mindset, even when facing challenges.

Learn resilience skills and go from coping to thriving

  • Identify learning-style, life-style and coping-style strengths

  • Learn substance abuse refusal skills

  • Learn and practice how to replace a negative self-talk with a positive or neutral self-talk

  • Learn time management and organizational skills

  • Understand procrastination and how to manage it

  • Learn mind-body tools for adapting a positive mind-set in the face of stress
